• In a single day, the Iraqi resistance carried out five operations targeting critical sites within the occupying entity. The most significant and effectively painful strikes appear to have hit a military base in the Jordan Valley, while a confirmed attack targeted an American base in eastern Syria.
• The Iraqi resistance has been at the forefront of the battle from the commencement of al-Aqsa Flood and the Resistance Axis’ involvement in supporting Palestinian resistance. In the initial phase, they focused on attacking American forces, demanding a withdrawal from Iraq and Syria on one hand, and as a punishment for Washington’s unwavering support of the occupying entity on the other. When the Iraqi resistance paused these attacks in response to domestic political and governmental requests to allow for withdrawal negotiations, they redirected their efforts. They began cooperating with Yemeni forces, coordinating operations of ‘deep battle’ against the occupying entity, particularly between the ports of Eilat and Haifa. However, when negotiations between the Iraqi government and the U.S. administration failed to secure a withdrawal agreement, the Iraqi resistance resumed its strikes against American forces while continuing its collaboration with Yemen.
• Today, the Iraqi resistance enters a fourth phase. It maintains its operations against American forces and continues its cooperation with Yemen, but now opens a new front of operations against the occupying entity. This marks a decisive stage in the confrontation between the Resistance Axis and the occupying entity.
• Despite Iraq’s complex political and social landscape, the Iraqi resistance stands as a significant strategic force in the region, characterised by clear resolve and a steadfast identity. This allows it to act with boldness, unhindered by Iraq’s intricate internal dynamics. The Iraqi Resistance’s strength is comparable to Yemen’s fighting capabilities both in manpower and military technology, and is distinguished by key differences that enhance its position: an open line of communication with Iran, serving as a strategic depth for the Resistance Axis, and direct land access to Syria, which allows the resistance to reach the Golan front in the event of a major escalation.
• The message delivered through today’s operations is clear: the Iraqi resistance is ready to face all challenges and consequences arising from its full and active participation in the ongoing war, including targeting the depth of the occupying entity. Perhaps the leaders of the occupying entity are aware of Iraq’s historic capacity to influence the outcomes of wars.
