The ongoing debate between the occupying entity’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over whether to prioritise maintaining control over the Philadelphi Corridor or securing a deal to bring back prisoners from Gaza has failed to overshadow the developments in the West Bank. Despite the media’s focus on the government’s internal divisions and the public debate it has sparked, the occupying army has struggled to assert control, while resistance groups have successfully targeted its vehicles with explosives.

Leaked reports indicate that the Chief of Staff, Mossad Director, and Defense Minister are warning of the dangers posed by the potential collapse of the Gaza deal and the return of prisoners, which could lead to an uncontrollable regional war.

As midnight approached, the occupying army’s setbacks in the West Bank became even more pronounced. Reports from Tulkarm indicated a withdrawal of occupying forces, while in Jenin, fierce battles raged in the city and its refugee camp. Meanwhile, news broke of a massive explosion at a commercial complex near the entrance of the Gush Etzion settlement close to Bethlehem, with sirens sounding in Hebron settlements and reports of casualties, raising questions about the likelihood of these events being a result of resistance operations.

On the Lebanon front, the occupying entity’s army radio reported difficulties in dealing with resistance drones, admitting failure in tracking and intercepting them. Reportedly, Hezbollah has succeeded in causing deaths, injuries, fires, and the destruction of vital infrastructure by relying on these drones. Statements from the occupying entity’s army have advised settlers in the western Galilee to stay close to shelters as the resistance continues its attacks, while promises made by Netanyahu and Gallant to ensure the school year starts smoothly by deploying more troops to settlements have evaporated.

In Yemen, millions of Yemenis took to the streets, chanting in support of Palestine and the resistance, condemning the stances of their government, which has normalised relations and stood by idly. They affirmed their mandate to Abdul-Malik al-Houthi to continue responding to attacks on Yemen and to keep supporting Gaza, its people, and its resistance. Meanwhile, international maritime agencies reported a new ship targeted in the Red Sea, and EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell described the situation there as a catastrophic failure and unbearable.
