A road map starts with the visit of Aoun to Franjieh
Written by Nasser Kandil,
The speech which the Deputy and the leader Suleiman Franjieh has said as an immediate comment on the speech of Al Sayyed Hassan Nasrollah is a language that is not understood by many who are concerned in politics in Lebanon and the Arab world, because it is a response to the speech they do not understand that that is uttered by the leader of the resistance, in which he addressed the conscience and the heart, thus the heart and the conscience replied, Al Sayyed has said to Franjieh that you are my friend, brother, and the light of my eyes, Franjieh replied Al Sayyed Hassan Nasrollah is the Master of all, but Franjieh continued in politics what he started in conscience, so he drew a road map for his position on the light of these meanings and the deep dimensions of the mutual messages between him and Al Sayyed Nasrollah to come out with a very clever, realistic, and principled bilateral equation at once.
The first term of Franjieh’s equation is that his candidacy will be in circulation only when he goes to the parliament and he will not attend any session where Hezbollah is absent, thus putting the candidacy in circulation is a mortgage of his acceptance as a practical option by Hezbollah. The second term is that he will not withdraw his nomination only if the Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri adopts the nomination of the General Aoun. This term is addition to the speech of Al Sayyed Hassan Nasrollah in response to the callings to go to the parliament to elect the General Aoun by saying If Franjieh withdraws tomorrow, then the remaining of the Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri outside the understanding on the arrival of the General Aoun to presidency is enough for the disruption. It is known implicitly from the context of the speech of Al Sayyed Nasrollah that he wants the presidency as he said and repeated an entrance for the renaissance of the country and the homeland, that requires linking it with a wider consensus that cannot be hold but only if it includes Al-Hariri.
Franjieh has ended his duty and his responsibility subtly and in a clear way, he put the first steps for the subsequent steps, so he paved all the positive reasons for the General Aoun to go on in his coming task as long as the trust is present in the speech of Al Sayyed Hassan Nasrollah and his position. Because without him Franjieh will not go to the parliament and tries to go on in his nomination, let him be the authority which decides when this will be happened and in what time and conditions, as long as Al Sayyed Nasrollah has determined them and said them publicly. When the General Aoun says that he does not want to continue in considering himself a candidate then it is as if Franjieh has put his nomination as an alternative choice in which the General Aoun has the decision to go on in it and its timing, in return he put the conditions of withdrawing his nomination by the acceptance of Al-Hariri of the nomination of the General Aoun, Thus he granted the General Aoun the open timed unlimited opportunity to convince Al-Hariri to adopt his nomination as an inevitable condition as Al Sayyed has explained, thus this nomination has turned from the a nomination without conviction in which the political parties are meeting into a road map toward Baabda Palace.
After the speech of Franjieh the first step has become within the reach of the General Aoun, to go to Bnashii to tell Franjieh that we are together, and to call him to participate in the preparation for a meeting that includes Al-Hariria and the General Aoun as a starting for meetings without limits or conditions but for an inevitable national dialogue in order to correct the political situation in Lebanon, however, without leading to developments of positive results specially the presidential issue, Lebanon will remain at the cliff of the earthquake.
