The Memorable Day

The history witnesses rare days that become articulations in the human life, they draw paths that control what come after them like days, months, and years, and on an area that is beyond the place of their occurrence and their geographical limit towards their influence on the world. Such of these days are the day of breaking through the Bastille jail and the start of the French Revolution, the fall of the Nazism and the entry of the allied forces to Berlin, the day of signing the historic agreement of the American withdrawal from Vietnam, and the day of the fall of Berlin Wall and the opening  of the path of the disintegration of the Soviet Union, also the twelfth day of July in 2006 when Israel has prepared itself for a war that aimed to lead  to a tragic end of the course of the resistance, which in return humbled Israel and obliged it to withdraw humiliated from the southern of Lebanon in 2000.

It is no longer important that Israel has taken from arresting of its four soldiers a plea or an announced reason for the war; it has raised the slogan of crushing the resistance, and a goal of reaching to the Litani River and purifying the separated area on the borders from the presence of the resistance. It was obliged at the end of the war to free the prisoners of war  at their forefront Samir Al Quntar who was martyred in a planned process by the Israelis, but nothing has changed since that date, Israel emerged to a war with a goal that transcends the issue of the prisoners of war which turned into a detail that just summarized identifying the identity of the winner in the war, but the goal was crushing the resistance and restoring the deterrence ability which has been eroded after its withdrawal from the southern of Lebanon. The timing of the war has occurred in an accurate strategic moment in the path of the wars which were waged by Washington in the same field and geographical region entitled the Middle East, and after it failed to subdue Iran and Syria after its occupation to Afghanistan and Iraq, and the failure of its bet on the success of Israel in crushing the resistance to generate a new geostrategic background. Just for that the US Secretary of State Gondalisa Rice sponsored this war before it started and said that it is the labor of the new Middle East. She barely became a resident in Beirut to keep up the consequences of this war and to observe its interactions, moreover she drew for it a political limit entitled a resolution form the Security Council to take back the weapons of the resistance under the Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, furthermore, she disrupted any attempt for ceasing-fire for this purpose. For the sake of that war there was a political Arab background that raised from the first day the charge of adventure against the resistance, it threatened it to bear the consequences of what it did, furthermore a diplomatic political Arab and maybe military and financial alliance has been constituted to keep up that war, where the former Foreign Minister of Israel Tzipi Livni revealed some of its chapters by saying some of the Arab leaders were calling us even after the midnight of the long negotiation day on the eve of the end of the war asking us not to stop, calling us to break their bones, by saying that we do not want to see his forefinger while it waved in front of us on the TVs, the intention was what the Gulf rulers said about the leader of the resistance Al Sayyed Hassan Nasrollah, where half of the world which stretched from Washington to the capitals of the NATO passing by the capitals of the Arabs of the moderation and oil towards Tel Aviv met to say that this war is our war, on the basis of its fate our fate depends, while the second half of the world was living a state of panic and anticipation from Moscow to Beijing to all the capitals that refuse the American hegemony. So as in the war against Iraq there was a fear of protest and punishment, the Summit of Petersburg of the eight major powers in the presence of Russia and China has issued a statement that announced getting along with what it called “the legitimate right of Israel of self-defense” even though their hearts were with us but their weapons were not against us. The Kornet was some of their product, because their hands were tied and their tongues were busy.

Within this dark scene the resistance has waged its war, along with Syria and Iran which decided that it is their war, because the consequences of the that war would determine the fate of the region and its new balances, therefore the Syrian and the Iranian energies have been mobilized to form an endless supply bridge in the heart of the war, moreover the President Bashar Al-Assad has informed the leader of the resistance that the victory through the steadfastness of the resistance will be a strategic change in the region and in the world. Just for that Syria as a country has refrained from entering the war because there was not a negotiation that was controlled by low ceilings, but the Syrian army was ready to enter the battle when the resistance decides and when it sees that its ability to withstand is weakening. The war occurred, during thirty-three days each team has did what it can to make the victory in its favor. Everyone realized that a new form for the region and for the world will be generated as an outcome of this war.  Actually when the war ended the new world and the new Middle East were under birth, but it was other than what Gondalisa has dreamt of and foreshadowed of its birth, it was totally reverse, as it was stated in the report of the committee of Iraq in the end of 2006, this committee was constituted by the US Congress and headed by the two heads of the Democrats and the Republican blocks Lee Hamilton and James Baker, it was known by their names. It stated that we have failed and we have to admit of the limits of the ability of power in politics-making, so we have to return to the concept of the engagement, settlements and understandings, we will admit of the nuclear status of Iran and the Arab Syria, as well as the position of the Palestinian Clause in making the tension between the East and West, and the importance of a solution that makes Israel give up of the territories which it occupied in 1967 in order to start making stability.

The war has ended, it recorded its morals from Herzliya to Tel Aviv, Washington and Brussels, Pentagon has read, and the NATO has read as well as the occupation army, there were strives, conspiracies, soft wars, smart wars, and bets, billions of dollars were spent, hundreds of thousands of lives were killed, regimes were fallen, and governments were constituted, as well as the choices of the new Ottoman and giving the region to the Muslim Brotherhood have been tested, playing with Al-Qaeda organization has been tried in addition to the bet on dividing the region and inserting it in endless civil wars, as the prophet of the Arab Spring Henry Bernard Levy has foreshadowed, but the region seems to be in front of facts, most notably is that the resistance alliance was not defeated and it does not seem that it will be defeated later, this alliance has succeeded in paving the way for the giant Russian presence in the new equations since the fall of Berlin Wall, so there is no horizon for providing conditions that allow the success of Washington in achieving the goal which it went to the wars for its sake, “it is the exclusive ruling of the world” according to the equation of its former Minister of Defense Donald Rumsfeld “ what was not solved by power, will be solved by more power” but Washington has obliged itself to withdraw its fleets which came out to wage a war against Syria without testing the effectiveness of power for fear of getting involved in wars that are out of control. Therefore the understandings were settled on the Ukraine file in Minsk, and on the ignoring of the fate of Crimea which was added by Russian, and on that the conference of Warsaw for the NATO will adopt this understanding and the understanding on the Iranian nuclear program; this has paved the way for the recommendations of Baker-Hamilton report which seemed to be closer and to be a title of the American policy after an ignorance that lasted for years.

The most prominent new facts are that the American bet on the countries of the political Islam in its extremist version in Saudi Arabia or its modern version in Turkey does not have an additive value in improving the conditions of its control over the Middle East, because the only reserve army which is instigated by the presence of the Muslim Brotherhood or the Wehhabism is Al-Qaeda organization which is soon turning to be a beast that is ready to prey everything in the West. In contrast, the bet on the division will bring states on the Mediterranean coast and the Gulf on its Arab bank from different sectarian colors, that makes them close to Iran, so it will make them having control over the waters of the Mediterranean and the Gulf and the fate of oil in the Gulf and the Mediterranean Coast, which means nearly half of the marketable world’s oil, so this will end the influence of Saudi Arabia and Turkey, and will divide them. While the choice of the fragile sectarian weak states will make from the civil wars a gate for the emergence of Al-Qaeda again in its original and revised version, as an army that is positioning under the  guise of sectarianism. But soon Al-Qaeda which is sponsored by the West will anticipate to it. On the contrary the civil secular strong country which is able to win in the war on terrorism and which Syria represents its live example is a resisting country that puts its compass towards defeating Israel and regaining the rights which the occupation usurped them by the force of the sustainable excessive Western protection.

Despite the obstinacy and despite the denial, Washington and its allies are testing the bitterness of a defeat that was born on the twelfth of July, but the attempts of evading from it are still till this moment, all of them know that the resistance which wrote the victory through its leaders and martyrs in July is the resistance which formed the additive value in the wars of the past ten years, it dots the I’s and crosses the T’s, so on its basis a new Middle East and a new world are born.
