Moscow wins the confrontation’s round by the force of Syria

Since the US aggression on Syria, Russia has not acted on the basis of what is happening is targeting Syria militarily separately as much as is seeking to affect the prestige of Russia and its negotiating on the international files from the gate of a new moral balance resulting from the US military escalation. Since Moscow is a high leadership of the war in which its allies participate, it is aware that the value of the US processes is restricted in answering one question did these strikes succeed in paving the way for an escalating path to weaken the Syrian ally, knowing that this path will become a pressure force along the days so there must be concessions to prevent the worst?

Moscow announces its conviction that Washington may return once again to similar strikes, so the Syrians have prepared themselves psychologically for this possibility even it said that it supports them. But this time the combating to the missiles will be different, because Syria will receive everything needed to confront this danger, and its allies will be on its side in the coming confrontations. Russia does not hide the hypotheses of hiding behind similar planned chemical attacks to which Washington may resort, therefore the question according to Moscow becomes about the impact of these US strikes in creating new dramatic paths which will determine the success or the failure.

The paths which were changed are the military path in favor of the ability of the Syrian and the allies to continue achieving the victories on the armed groups. This seems that what is after the aggression is similar to what it before it in terms of the field continuous superiority in achieving successive victories in favor of the Syrian army and its allies, while the political path which forms the standard is the degree of the stability of the Syrian leadership and the cohesion of the allies’ front. Moscow knows that the Syrian President, the Iranian leadership, and the leadership of the resistance exceeded the Russian leadership in going to further degree of confrontation, and that it is enough that those US strikes did not confuse Russia in order to make the US failure complete. Everything proves that Washington has not achieved but closed impasse due to the stability of the allies camp led by Moscow. The third path which seems that it is the serious one on which was the US bet and now it is of Russian interest is how the Syrian people will react to these US strikes especially the first strike which forms a shock. The information says that the Americans expected the displacement of five million Syrians from Damascus and Aleppo towards Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey, and that this popular collapse if it occurs will pave the way for two or three successive strikes where Syria will be empty of its people and will turn into cities of ghosts, so the war will have another dimension and the bet on weakening the surrounding front of the Syrian country will become in its place, therefore there will be rising voices of the neighborhood and the Europeans that express the inability to bear the population explosion, furthermore, the politics will have different direction, but the result was disappointing and resounding regarding the US expectations and calculations.

The Russians observed, took photos, and recorded carefully the night of Damascus and Aleppo after the US strikes, the Russian leadership was stunned regarding the scene of staying up till late hours in the streets, squares, and cafes and the number of the cars which were moving in the two cities, in addition to the cities of the Syrian coast. They recorded cynical comments of people towards the Americans, along with the high morale of all the Syrian ages and the social groups. Moscow was keen as Washington to observe the movement to the borders in the morning of the day that followed the aggression, but the movement from and to Syria was as any ordinary day. The follow-up resources of the position of the Russian leadership consider that this is a victory sign which its clearness and effect are increasing whenever the Americans venture to enter a new test, because  the military and the political paths are stable and constant and they will remain like that.

Moscow succeeded by the power of the morals and the courage of the people of Syria. At the corridors of the Russian leadership there is a talk as what the Russian President said when the US fleets came to the Mediterranean that the difference between Ukraine and Syria is in the person of the president who reached in his courage to the championship level in Syria, while in Ukraine he was defeated and withdrew from the confrontation.
